The actual works of the gun itself are a bit complex. Basically, there is a series of bolts and cams, which work to load the barrels and prevent any back firing by creating seals. More information on the exact workings and how each part functions can be found through a variety of resources.
Maintenance is fairly easy once you become familiar with the gun itself. Depending on the type and brand that you purchase you may need to do extended and frequent care in order to be maintained so be sure to check on the requirements before purchasing an Airsoft Minigun.
